The Florida Board of Pharmacy has activated the online registration application process for Pharmacy Technicians. Go to the following link http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/pharmacy/ph_lic_req.html. The Pharmacy Technician Registration Information is located in the lower center of the page.
All individuals who perform the tasks of a pharmacy technician must register with the Florida Board of Pharmacy no later than January 1, 2010. Review the General Information and Frequently Asked Questions sections of the Board of Pharmacy website for additional assistance.
Employers wishing to register their employees as a “batch process” may do so. Follow the instructions on the Board of Pharmacy website to create an “other payer code” account to manage the registration process for a group of pharmacy technicians.
