Good Afternoon:
The Board of Pharmacy is pleased to announce that rule 64B16-26.1031, Florida Administrative Code; Influenza Immunization Certification Program became effective on March 20, 2008. To become certified by the Board of Pharmacy to administer influenza virus immunizations, a licensed pharmacist must complete a board-approved immunization administration certification course, submit an immunization administration certification application, and meet the requirements set forth in section 465.189, Florida Statutes.
